Hello everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of the 2021 Boston Salsa Festival. While the country is making great strides to go back to normal, we are still far for being safe. We simply will not have enough time to give our partners and dance studios the chance to prepare for the quality of event we pride ourselves in delivering year after year.
We feel very strongly that the health of our guests, talent, and staff comes first, and that they would be at a great risk if the event were to take place this year. The latest CDC forecast indicates that our country will reach heard immunity sometime between July and August and full vaccination will happen sometime at the end of the year. These current projections would not allow us to have a safe and enjoyable festival.
We hope that you understand this decision and continue to support the Boston Salsa Festival, which is set to return August 19-21, 2022. If you purchased your pass for 2020, it will automatically be valid (*transferred*) for 2022.
