TICKETS & REGISTRATION
Q: How do I buy tickets?
A: Tickets can be purchased online at Tickets. Tickets will also be available at door. Door Prices
Q: Are there multi-day passes or group discounts?
A: Yes! We offer weekend passes, day passes. Visit our Tickets page for details.
Q: What’s included with my ticket?
A: Depending on your ticket type, access includes entry to performances, workshops, social dances.
WORKSHOPS & PERFORMANCES
Q: Do I need to register in advance for workshops?
A: Some workshops require pre-registration due to limited space. Please check the workshop schedule for details.
Q: What styles of dance are featured?
A: The festival includes the following dance styles: Salsa, Bachata, Afrocuban Movement.
Q: Can I perform at the festival?
A: This years openings are full. Check this page for more information.
Q: Can I record the showcase?
A: Evening Showcases: You might take video of the shows from your seat, with your phone cameras at chest height ONLY. Please do NOT stand up, or stand on a chair, to video or take pictures in the showroom. People are trying to watch the show from behind you. We will have a professional crew recording the show. Please inquire at the registration desk for more info.
A: Workshops: Only allowed if the instructor invite you to video them, at their discretion
Q: Can save seats during the evenings showcases?
A: All seating is general/open seating, except for VIP seats. You may save extras up to 5 (five) minutes before the scheduled Showcase start time. Five (5) minutes before the scheduled Showcase start time, no seat saving will be allowed, and all open seats will be available to anyone present at that time, except for designated VIP Seating locations.
WHAT TO BRING
Q: What should I wear?
A: Comfortable, breathable dance attire and appropriate footwear for the workshops. For the social part, pull out your best looks — suits, dresses, sparkles, or stylish flair — whatever makes you feel fabulous and ready to dance the night away
Q: Should I bring food and water?
A: Water stations will be available, refillable water bottles are encouraged. Food and drinks will be available for purchase onsite and near by. Nearby Restaurants
ACCESSIBILITY & SAFETY
Q: Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?
A: Yes. Our venue is ADA-compliant, and we strive to accommodate all accessibility needs. Contact the hotel for specific concerns.
Q: What health and safety measures are in place?
A: We follow all local health guidelines. First aid, sanitation stations, and security personnel will be on site.
Q: Is there a code of conduct during the event.
A: BSF is about artistry and connecting with people. We are a community that welcomes all races, genders, sexual identities and dance levels. By attending Boston Salsa Festival you agree to our Code of Conduct
Q: Are kids allowed?
A: While we are an adult dance oriented event, children are welcomed to attend the shows.
Q: Is parking available?
A: Yes, parking is available in the hotel parking garage. We also encourage carpooling. Directions to the hotel HERE
